Old-school, traditional role-playing games inspired our founders to build The Legend of Aurum Draconis (LOAD) on the blockchain. LOAD offers a full-fledged RPG experience with an exciting story-driven questline, strategic turn-based battling, resource gathering, NFT crafting, skill development, and more.
Play the way you want while keeping full ownership over your character and equipment, and earning rewards through a well-balanced and sustainable in-game economy system, everything powered by blockchain technology.
⚔Recruit Your Heroes
You can recruit up to 5 Heroes to the same party, being able to combine their different skills and builds to form the ultimate adventure team. Each Hero is a unique original artwork NFT, and your character gains experience and levels through in-game activities, which persist as new game content is released. Currently, Heroes are purchased on secondary marketplaces (NFTrade, Joepegs, Kalao, TofuNFT, etc. ) or minted via the Aurum Draconis website during special events.
Soon, you'll be able to hire (rent) mercenaries hanging around the Wild Boar Inn or even trade characters with other players to join your party.

📜 Series, Ranks & Stats
There were two series of the collection minted and a total of 2126 NFTs thus far. The two minted series are named Genesis series (ID: 1- 1151) and Corruption series (ID: 1152- 2126), recognized by a royal wreath and magic stone, respectively. There are five different ranks; one apparent difference is the frame surrounding NFTs, golden for Legendary, red for Grandmaster, dark navy/black for Master, dark grey for Apprentice, and green for Neophyte. The fundamental difference is in the in-game perks each series enjoys in the Aurum Draconis ecosystem. Bonus will vary based on your Hero’s rank: Legendary 15%, Grandmaster 10%, Master 8%, Apprentice 5%, and Neophyte 2%.
🛡 Gear Up for Epic Challenges
The vast variety of armor and weaponry suits all play styles and builds. Every item must be carefully chosen to fit your game strategy, as some traits might contribute to or hinder your hero's performance.
You can also find consumables for healing and resources for crafting to help on your journey.
Like heroes, each piece of equipment is a unique original artwork NFT, and you can craft, equip, repair, buy and sell them. When it comes to the variety of equipment NFTs, there are thousands of different combinations of attributes.
The combination of pieces of equipment and the character's stats allows you to be anything you want to be. For example, you can build a mighty Warrior and charge straight into the battlefield or a resourceful Crafter and sell your products at the Marketplace for a living. And considering you have up to 5 heroes, you can balance the party with abilities that complement each other and toggle between heroes depending on the situation you find yourself in.

The Legend of Aurum Draconis takes place in the Dragon Haven realm, where you will find vast and dangerous plains, deep, foreboding underground caverns at mines, mystical forests, and eerie locations nightmarish creatures call home. You can always head back to the Township of Dragon Haven, where you’ll find various services: trading, banking, forging, crafting, and a good place to rest.
The Plains
Vast and dangerous regions just outside of the township of Dragon's Haven. Head out to fight monsters threatening the town's safety, gather resources, complete story-driven quests, and find magical loot.

The Mines
Located in deep, foreboding underground caverns, the intrepid explorer may find valuable resources & long-forgotten treasures, though danger lurks where you are least expecting it.
The Deep Woods
Ancient, mystical forests as old as time hold many secrets. Few who have dared to venture in have returned. Those who do speak of wonders nigh incomprehensible by the mortal mind.
The Deadlands
Once the fabled nesting ground of the dragons, these blighted lands bore witness to many desperate battles between the dragons and the human invaders. Now only the most nightmarish of creatures call it home.

The Wild Boar Inn
Players can rest & refresh their turns, get special boosts from the bard's songs, hire a mercenary (rent NFTs), or head to the backroom to try their luck at the minigames.
The Marketplace
The trading hub of the town, where you can buy and sell items from merchants or other players.
The Grom’s bank
The financial center of Dragon Haven, where players can earn staking rewards and a share of game revenue, acquire $DCAR bonds, and check their passbook (just like a real bank).
The Hero’s Stash
Your personal deposit, from where you can collect the loot of battles and mined/gathered resources, rewarded $DCAU and $DCAR. It optimizes blockchain interaction, saving gas fees and reducing transactions.
The Crafters Guild
It's a marketplace for crafters. Visit the guild to receive (or offer) crafting services. Now, you can use your blueprints to create recipes.
The Forge
Visit the forge and refine the ore gathered from the mines.
💰 Play-and-Earn, Loot, Trade, and Stake
Token economics have been carefully tailored to fit the complex underlying game mechanics of The Legend of Aurum Draconis, our flagship adventure RPG offering & the broader DCG ecosystem of GameFi products and NFTs. Player earnings are generated through active participation in in-game activities and sound strategy, representing a clear break from Play-to-Earn games with little no true gameplay.
Our native tokens, $DCAU and $DCAR, can be earned via:
-Trading in-game items in the native Dragon Haven Marketplace
-Staking at Grom's Bank (in-game vault) to receive a share of platform revenues
-Looting directly from the slayed enemies after battles
-Winning mini-games at the Wild Boar’s Inn or special events
Both $DCAU and $DCAR have a low, fixed maximum supply and are intended to become deflationary through in-game burning mechanics and recycling (redirecting % of expenditure into the reward pools).
